ロバート・ファルコン・スコット （Robert Falcon Scott, 1868年 6月6日 - 1912年 3月29日 ）は、 イギリス の 海軍 軍人 、 探検家 。 南極 探検家として知られ、1912年に 南極点 到達を果たすが、帰途遭難し、死亡した。 生涯 1868年 、 醸造 業を営むジョン・エドワード・スコットの長男として、誕生。 武人の家系であり、13歳で 海軍兵学校 に入学する。 15歳で 士官候補生 となる。 1888年 、 海軍大学 を卒業。 1899年、 少佐 だったスコットは、 王立地理学協会 による南極探検計画を知り、隊長として参加する事を熱望する。 翌年 中佐 に昇進し、その任にあたった。 Scott Terra was born on the 25th of June, 1987.
