Called "America's wolf," the red wolf ( Canis rufus) is the only large predator whose historic range is found entirely within the United States, stretching from Texas to New England. But レッドウルフ とは、 メタルマックス1 の登場人物及び、シリーズに登場する 真紅の戦車 。 戦車の方は区別のためか「 Rウルフ 」として表記される。 呼び名は同じ。 元々はレッドウルフのワンオフ戦車と思われていたのだが、 メタルサーガから「ブラド・コングロマリット」製戦車という設定が設けられた。 ただし、ブラド製は「ウルフ」であり色やデザインも若干違う。 これをカスタムしたのがRウルフという事だろう。 ちなみにメタルサーガモバイルやメタルマックス3に登場するMBTシリーズはRウルフの後継戦車という位置付け。 だがその割りに性能は半端、というか劣化版。 特にMM3にはRウルフも登場するが、完全にMBTの上位互換といった立ち位置。 恐らくMBTシリーズは量産廉価版なのだろう。 1.
